Estonia grants license to PokerStars

PokerStarsSquarePokerStars have been granted a license to operate poker in the Eastern European nation of Estonia, shortly after being granted one in both France and Italy over the past two years. Tomas Larsson, PokerStars’ Baltics country manager, commented that although Estonia is one of the smallest EU member states, poker is flourishing and it remains a significant new market for PokerStars.

If Norbert the Narc is to be believed they may well have to continue to make new agreements in Eastern Europe, and if there’s a flare up at Chernobyl due to the wildfires sweeping across Russia, investing in online gaming in the east might not be such a bad idea. Read more.
