Rumours are afoot that the November nine should become the November ten and that the winner of the ladies event should have a seat to the final table of the WSOP Main Event.
There’s no harm in trying to ensure a female presence in the final, although ESPN’s thinking appears to be to try and boost the ratings by sexing up the sport.
The trouble is the last woman sitting at the WSOP is Breeze Zuckerman – and while she may be handy at the felts, Jennifer Leigh she ain’t. Perhaps ESPN should just front up and offer a place to the highest finisher from the Bleacher Report’s “20 Hottest Poker Babes that could win the WSOP”.
