A bipartisan pair of U.S. congressmen has introduced legislation to make sure those dastardly financial institutions understand the difference between good online betting and bad online betting. The Wire Clarification Act is the brainchild of Scott Murphy (D-NY) and Brett Guthrie (R-KY), who think state-subsidized online horse betting is the bestest thing ever, and that the horses that take part must be unicorns who’ve temporarily lost their horns, and that banks and credit card companies who block Americans from betting on these wondrous creatures are the biggest meanies ever.
