FIFA chief Blatter apologises to England, re-opens goal-line debate

FIFA President Sepp Blatter has apologised to the English Football Association for the clear goal by Frank Lampard that wasn’t awarded during England’s World Cup defeat to Germany. Blatter has even said that FIFA will now re-open the debate about using goal-line technology in future. The matter will be raised at the Friday office meeting, just as soon as they have finished discussing whether or not the world is round and if they can still get away with introducing compulsory player mini-skirts at the next Women’s World Cup.
