Joran van der Sloot, the poker player who has long been considered the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of American Natalee Holloway, has confessed to murdering 21-year-old Stephany Flores of Peru last week. It is thought that Flores confronted the Dutchman over the Holloway incident before being attacked in his hotel room in Lima, where he was taking part in the PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour.
