Las Vegas gambling train plans run off the rails

The casino-on-a-train concept is nothing new, but it keeps running into the same old problems. For instance, two companies have been trying to launch separate L.A.-to-Las Vegas rail routes that would permit one to partake in alcohol and gambling the minute the wheels started rolling, but the folks who own the tracks — Union Pacific and Amtrak — won’t let the gambling express leave the station.
