Could the US authorities actually be coming to the aid of online gambling for a change? Old Uncle Sam has appointed its first senior army general to direct cyber warfare. The accepted wisdom is that four-star general, Keith Alexander will direct Cyber Command to ease anxiety over the vulnerability of the US’s military and other networks to a cyber attack from China and Russia, but surely it’s really just a move to protect online gambling firms from Denial of Service attacks once gambling is legalised and regulated in America.
