They say that life isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. And the same applies to the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), at least according to this particular article it does. To stretch the analogy further if SCOOP is the marathon of online poker, then George Lind is Paula Radcliffe. No, he’s not borderline anorexic, he can’t run around London in two hours flat and, to our knowledge, he doesn’t take a public piss in the middle of the road during tournaments. But then again, maybe he does. This is online poker we’re talking about, so how would we know? Either way, Jorj95 has cashed in an amazing 27 of the 38 SCOOP events to earn an impressive $105,127.12 – a return of 71% – and win the 2010 PokerStars SCOOP Player of the Series.
