Gambling in India ‘socially acceptable, legally not’

GandhiAs India’s tax officials contemplate investigations of foreign online gambling firms, a growing chorus of local voices is suggesting the government pull its head out of its arse and recognize that gambling is both prevalent and accepted by the majority of Indians. A lot of these gambling-advocates happen to be lawyers, just like Gandhi, so it begs the question: would the Mahatma have taken a flutter on the IPL?
