Good point made by a writer over at The Hill on the hypocrisy of the U.S. federal government’s move to legalize a movie futures exchange while continuing to bite down hard on online poker. Seems to me the easiest path to legalized online poker in the U.S. would be to let Goldman Sachs, Cantor Fitzgerald and other ‘captains of industry’ open their own online poker rooms. Naturally, Goldman would hedge its own bets by taking out credit default swaps on Isirdul1’s winnings/losses, but hey, that’s just good business, right? Read more.
