It’s funny that Aussie Rules football player Brendan Fevola should choose now to come out about his gambling addiction problems now, just when Australian sports is in a tizzy over the PokerStars.net sponsorship plaver. Apparently the Brisbane Lions star is “in the hole” to the tune of $200,000, which is a shame, but so was Tony Adams admitting he was an alcoholic – but I didn’t see the goverment decide to ban alcohol in the UK after that one.
