Turns out you don’t have to be Phil Hellmuth or Vanessa Rousso to be a master at reading poker tells because we humans have particular behavioural reactions to specific situations – and it’s all in the eyes. A recent study in everyone’s favourite journal, Current Biology, has revealed that when asked to state a random series of 40 numbers between one and 30, researchers were able to predict what each number was before it was spoken.
