Short track gold medalist winner Zhou Yang honorably thanked her parents for their support and then proceeded to get blasted by Chinese officials for not thanking her country first. Keep in mind the young girl’s parents are disabled and make their living by running a small lottery booth, so not only do they have to worry about Chinese witch hunt gambling raids, but now they have to stick up for their daughter.
