Say you owed someone money, and frankly, you found the whole repayment thing a bit of a hassle. Well, if you lived in South Dakota, you could walk away scot-free if you could somehow manage to lose a small wager with the person to whom you owed the original debt. At least, you could have done so up until this Wednesday, when the state legislature closed this particular loophole.
