The administrative court of the Lazio region of Italy have called for the bingo operators to pause their activity – and not just so that they can enjoy a nice, long lunch. The frustrating ruling is due to the failure of the decrees regulating online bingo to comply with the formalities required by Italian law. So now operators have to wait until either the Court of Appeal gets around to overturning the decision or until the Italian Gaming Authority gains the required approvals and re-issues the decrees before they can re-open their sites.
