Gambling operations in Bolivia have nearly doubled in the last year as other countries continue to prohibit and restrict gaming. Bolivian gambling laws are very relaxed and Marco Cardenas, director of the National Lottery of Bolivia, says the country is “a gambling company’s paradise.” That paradise now houses over 80 casinos and around 10,000 gambling machines, many of which are Russian owned.
