I decided to take a little field trip today, a journey back to my iGaming roots and what I like to call my original iGaming family. Literally…the Corfmans! Ah, the Casino City office, home of Online Casino City, the GPWA, numerous gambling publications, boxes of magazines to be hand-carried to the airport, and the industry’s notorious set of twins. Today I was visiting for a very special reason, however…to spend some time and share some stories with Casino City’s latest and greatest, Debbee “GreedyGirl” Silverman.
Surprise!! Debbee recently joined Casino City as the senior account manager, my former position, and is looking after all relationships with igaming affiliate programs. Debbee may be new to Casino City, but she comes from ten years of iGaming experience- six years with popular casino portal Gone Gambling and four years with CWC Affiliates– meaning don’t F*$#*ck with her. Trust me when I say you are not wearing the pants in this relationship, my dear affiliate manager.
In fact, when I first started with Casino City in March of 2005, I had no idea what I was doing, and Debbee was the one to come to my rescue. After reading about her Vegas hotel room stripper experience in the first Gone Gambling newsletter I ever received, I decided to drop this very hot ticket an email. Several days later, Debbee and I were on the phone for hours, rapping about industry characters and how to handle them, all of which I remember to this day.
And there you have it. Debbee Silverman, my very first, and very favorite, iGaming industry trainer. Life is good my friends…Casino City inventory is in very good hands, GreedyGirl and BodogBecky are reunited at last…what more could you ask for?! Welcome to two of the loudest and most well-connected females in iGaming. Next time I am inviting J Todd, Calvin and a collection of Vegas strippers so we can document the whole thing on camera and release it in the GPWA newsletter. Done! Love this idea.
