Powell and Bolt both out of Diamond racing
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has shown himself up to not only be a really bad loser, but also a closet homophobe, after pulled out of Friday’s Diamond League meeting after being beaten by Tyson Gay. Team-mate Asafa Powell has also pulled out citing the ‘strength in numbers’ pact taken out by the two Caribbean sprinters.
Bolt and Powell were last reportedly seen exiting McDonalds with a truck-load of Chicken Nuggets and no comment was given. You can see Gay’s victory on Friday at Crystal Palace on all good athletics coverage carrying channels, and some bad ones too. Read more.
