The White House is asking lawmakers to help ‘clarify’ the FBI’s ability to monitor the private emails of American citizens without first getting a judge’s warrant. While privacy advocates are alarmed, government officials claim this is not an attempt to expand the FBI’s authority, merely to unmuddy the waters surrounding existing legislation. Ominously, the administration rationalizes that Americans shouldn’t be alarmed by this move because the FBI has been making these sort of requests for years now, and that internet service providers are routinely indulging these requests.     This is a 100% violation of privacy & human rights. Do mail developers could invent a thing which is encrypted enough so these dogs couldn't sniff them out? Just a thought
