Dallas poker house given 45 citations in four days — for parking

Proper tussle brewing down in Dallas. A ‘known’ poker house received 45 citations in four days, none of them to do with illegal gambling. The citations claimed that the gravel on the house’s parking lot wasn’t up to code, even though city officials later confirmed that the lot actually was up to code. So why the full court press by police? The mayor is pointing the finger at the City Attorney’s office, calling the ticket-blitz an ‘abuse’ and strongly suggesting that the police have more important issues at hand.
