
Crist has come
Governor Charlie Crist signed Senate Bill 622 into law on Wednesday finalising an agreement between Florida and the Seminole Tribe that could pump $1.2 billion into state coffers over the next five years. The law gives the Seminole Tribe exclusive rights to operate Class III gaming — blackjack, baccarat and roulette — for five years and Vegas-style slot machines outside of South Florida for 20 years.
