With the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act due to take effect on 1 June, proponents of online gambling introduced the revised version of the Internet Gambling Regulation and Tax Enforcement Act on Monday. Representative Jim McDermott’s new bill, which has been co-sponsored by Rep. Barney Frank, would enable individual states and Tribal governments ible to receive 6% of the revenue generated from online gamblers in their jurisdictions. Read more.
