GamblingCompliance scribe Chris Krafcik tweeted that the Pennsylvania state Senate’s Community, Economic & Recreational Development (CERD) committee for sponsoring a poison pill for the state’s iGaming industry. |

That’s a shocker. What did Chris find? |
Krafcik received intel from sources that the Senate CERD plans to render Category 3 casinos ineligible for online licensing; propose a bifurcated online licensing regime (one for poker-only sites, the other covering casino games); and milk the operators dry by requiring them to $5m for each of the available 10 licenses for each type. |

| You know what sounds like CERD? |
Turd, man. Crap. Just like what CERD proposes. Hold my beer because CERD is also proposing tax rates, which are 16% for the poker-only sites and 54% for casino sites. The proposal mirrors the current disparity on the state’s brick and-mortar slots operators and land-based gaming tables. |
