Betting on Football brings record speaker lineup to London

The fifth edition of the Betting on Football Conference has been packed to the brim as the event now commands more conference and exhibition space than ever before. Betting on Football 2018 is ready to guide industry operators, affiliates, suppliers and service providers on a path to World Cup success this summer.

This is just one of five main tracks to be held across two action-packed days at #bofcon2018, which is set to feature up to 200 industry leading speakers.

Assessing the future of traditional customer bonusing, how to engage customers in a live environment, the scale of the DFS opportunity, how to prevail in the ‘Facebook and Twitter battlegrounds’, the ongoing battle with match-fixing, how to keep players engaged for the new season and the hidden benefits of sponsorship.

Updates around the biggest sports betting jurisdictions. The licensing opportunity in Spain, moving towards legalised sports betting in the US, the success of Scandinavian sector start-ups, preparing for a World Cup-free summer in Italy, the changing laws in Africa, the opaque regulatory landscape in Asia.

Analysis of the philosophy of gambling, the value of investment in an increasingly consolidated market, regulatory backlash in established betting jurisdictions and how ‘designer’ bets are influencing trading, before a hat-trick of CEO panels focused on affiliates, innovation and opportunities at Russia 2018.

Looks at customer onboarding, whether skilled affiliates remain the best means of conversion, fraud prevention, the perfect user experience, beating the omnichannel challenge and improving CRM strategy. The track will assess football’s effectiveness as a cross-selling product and how the industry can increase social responsibility.
