Regulators in Ohio have approved the first casino business operator licence for Cleveland. Rock Ohio Caesars are planning to open the $350 million Horseshoe Casino on May 14 inside an old department store building. Glamorous or what! According to the Chicago Tribune the application was unanimously approved after the firm wired the $50 million licence fee to the Ohio Casino Control Commission. The second state licence, for Toledo, is likely to be approved in the coming days. It will mean Penn National Gaming Inc will open the $320 million Hollywood Casino on East Toledo riverfront on May 29.
