The regularization of the Brazilian gambling industry has generated a lot of interest in the gambling community, with a report put together by KPMG on behalf of the Remote Gaming Association (RGA) suggesting a combined online betting and gaming market would be worth up to $2.1bn annually.
Many experts also deem the Brazilian market to be very attractive because all licences will be issued at the Federal level, with one set of legislation for the whole country, contrary to what is happening in a lot of new market scenarios, such as the U.S. and Argentina.
