Pragmatic Play is set to expand into Colombia, thanks to a new supply deal it has secured with a local operator, Wplay.co. The expansion comes as the online gaming supplier has been actively looking for new regions of opportunity around the globe and has locked in several strategic deals in the past month.
Pragmatic’s chief business development officer, Yossi Barzely, says, “We are thrilled to have gone live on Wplay.co, and excited to offer brand new players our award-winning slots. We are always looking to enter new regulated markets and look forward to a long and successful partnership with Wplay.co.”
Wplay.co CEO Julio Cesar Tamayo adds, “Pragmatic Play’s games stand out in a crowded marketplace, with a wide array of successful content, and we’re thrilled to have them on board. We’re looking forward to offering our customers the very best in immersive gaming from the slot provider’s innovative portfolio.”
Pragmatic has been extremely busy inking new deals over the past year to operate in regulated markets. Among others, it now works with Svenska Spel, Casumo and Kindred, and continues to acquire more ground in the online gaming space. Part of the reason it has been so successful is because all of its line of video slots can be integrated by an operator using a single API (application programming interface).
The company just introduced its new Pragmatic Play Enhance (PPE) tool last week. It is a promotional tool that offers a range of gamification and marketing features to enhance the customer experience. PPE is an add-on that can be tied to an existing online casino content portfolio without a great deal of hassle or investment.
