Royal wedding 2018 prop bets: Will the Queen, Kate Middleton wear same hat color?

They say the bride’s dress is the most anticipated fashion highlight in every high-profile wedding. Most ladies patiently wait for celebrity brides to walk down the aisle to get a glimpse of their gown and make notes for future reference.

Royal wedding 2018 prop bets: Will the Queen, Kate Middleton wear same hat color? However, this will not be the case in the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle on Saturday. While there will be brides-to-be who will surely keep a close watch on Markle’s wedding gown, most people will probably talk about the hats that most of their guests will wear for the royal wedding.

The royal hats created lots of buzz when Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, got hitched in 2011, which apparently were said to be part of a very strict dress code for female guests at that time. Princess Beatrice of York put Lady Gaga to shame with her taupe O tacked to her forehead. Will’s cousin and her taupe O became so popular that she was able to raise $130,000 for charity when she sold the hat on eBay.

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding just two days away, bookmakers are now trying to predict the color of the hats that Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Cambridge will wear during the occasion.

At Bodog, there is 3/1 odds that Queen Elizabeth will wear a hat that has cream/ivory shade during the Royal Wedding. The other popular color shade of the Queen’s hat during the wedding is blue (4/1); white (4/1); green (5/1); and silver (7/1).

On the other hand, the odds of Kate donning a green hat during the Royal Wedding is 3/1. Other popular choices for Kate’s hat is blue (5/1); Pink (5/1); Yellow (6/1); and Purple (7/1). Meanwhile, there’s 20/1 odds that Queen Elizabeth and Kate will wear the same hat color on Saturday’s royal wedding.

Punters also try to predict who will walk the bride-to-be down the aisle after her father, Thomas Markle, said on Monday that he will not attend the event. At Bodog, the punter’s popular choice is Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland with 1/2 odds.

There’s 3/1 and 10/1 odds that either Prince William or Prince Charles will walk Markle down the aisle in the absence of her father.

Whatever the outcome of the odds are, the biggest winner on Saturday is no other than Prince Harry and Markle, whose love knows no boundaries.
