Champick.Com – New, innovative daily fantasy football platform from liepaja, latvia expanding globally

To support exponential growth, CHAMPICK is looking for talented developers, graphic and UX designers in our Liepaja and Riga offices, who are passionate sports fans and are eager to work in a global setting.

A new Latvian daily fantasy football platform CHAMPICK (www.champick.com) has entered Georgian, Hungarian and South African markets by signing strategic partnerships with local media companies to boost product growth. Several well-developed countries in different continents are in advanced stages of negotiation to soon become partners too.
CHAMPICK fantasy platform with an industry first scalable business model, was launched in May 2016 and after a successful BETA product test has acquired 30 000 users and is now expanding internationally by signing strategic partners globally, and continuing product improvement and mobile app development.
Quote from CHAMPICK CEO, Eriks Nelsons: “I’m glad that after the hard work of the last 12 months we have proven our business model and received positive feedback from fantasy players and strategic partners all around the world.
A year ago we predicted scalability issues for existing fantasy giants globally (such as Draftkings and Fanduel); their business could be perceived as similar to gambling and lottery companies.
Lately we have seen many issues for them in the USA and even the obstructing of market entries in other continents, which gives us many opportunities all around the world.”

ABOUT DAILY FANTASY SPORTS:

Since 2007 the daily fantasy sports industry has exploded in the USA, mainly focusing on American sports such as NFL, Baseball and others, where fantasy players can submit their daily fantasy teams with selected real team players.
In most of the fantasy platforms players have to pay an entry fee to participate, and winners are rewarded with monetary prizes.
The biggest daily fantasy sports companies globally are Fanduel and Draftkings with over 1 billion USD market valuations, but recently they are facing legislation issues due to their business model, which is similar to gambling and lotteries with entry fees.
Daily fantasy sports platforms are new to other continents and now they have entered the competitive race to fight for market leader positions in the upcoming few years.
