A trio of football related stories to get your teeth into after Tempobet agreed on a sponsorship deal with Middlesbrough; Coral does likewise with WBA, and Sun Bets launches 60-second #YouBetcha ad on Sky Sports.

The Turkish-facing online gambling company Tempobet continues to focus a significant portion of its marketing muscle in the world of football after striking a deal with English Premier League (EPL) new boys Middlesbrough.

The terms of the deal will see Tempobet’s logo used on the Teeside club’s training kit. Tempobet will also display the clubs crest on their website and will advertise their brand at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough remains unbeaten after Week 2 in the EPL with a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City, and a 1-2 away win against local rivals Sunderland in the bag. Sportsbook Bodog believes they will finish mid-table offering odds of +400 to be relegated back to the Championship at the first time of asking.

Tempobet has been busy since the start of the season. Championship new boys Burton Albion, and La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid also entered into agreements with the online gambling outfit.

WBA And Coral Agree on Terms

The UK betting firm Coral has signed a three-year deal to become the European betting partner of West Bromwich Albion. The agreement allows Coral to advertise pitch side and in the backdrop of interviews held at The Hawthorns. There will also be a new Coral Player of the Month award voted for by the fans.

Tony Pulis’ side are expected to be embroiled in a relegation fight this season with Bodog pegging them as +300 to face relegation to the Championship. They have started the season with a win and loss. They beat struggling Crystal Palace by a goal to nil on the opening day of the season, before suffering a 1-2 defeat at home to Ronald Koeman’s Everton.

Earlier this year WBA secured a deal with the Asian online casino operator K8 Group to become the new shirt sponsor in a two-year deal.

Sun Bets Launch Debt TV Ad

The UK betting new boy Sun Bets has launched a brilliant new 60-second ad to be shown across Sky Sports channels throughout the entirety of the 2016-17 football season.

The Tabcorp-powered site has hired the likes of former Arsenal legend and football pundit, Ian Wright, to star in the commercial. The Sun Bets team paired with Pulse Creative to produce the ad and the electronic music wizards from London, Audio Bullys, supply the theme tune.
