Elevator Pitch – HatchAsia

HatchAsia Pitch

In this one-minute elevator pitch with CalvinAyre.com, Ron Arambulo introduces HatchAsia, a Philippine-based IT and BPO company that offers IT services to the iGaming sector.

In today’s dynamic online gambling market, operators are on the lookout for a provider that will provide them with the much-needed tools and skills to run a thriving offering.

Choosing a reliable software provider for an iGaming-related product is one of the most important decisions an operator must consider before starting his or her online gambling website, since a partnership between the operator and a software provider is a long-term one.

In Asia, where the online gambling sector is flourishing in countries that allow them to operate, there is always a need for flexible and fully customizable IT solutions that will help operators control the entire process—from design to post-launch.

Philippine-based Hatch Asia is originally a business process outsourcing firm registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) but has since advanced in the gambling foray to offer IT services for the iGaming sector both locally and outside of the country.

Founded in 2000, Hatch Asia is a unit of Philippine Stock Exchange-listed solutions provider DFNN Inc. The company was originally designed to be an incubation business for fledgling start-up “.com” companies in the country before it transitioned to become an IT and BPO company.

“We offer IT services for the iGaming sector. It services include customer service work, back end support, helpdesk. We also do software development, games in HTML 5,” Hatch Asia’s Ron Arambulo told CalvinAyre.com during the iGaming Entrepreneur Conference last November.

The company also implements e-wallet backend administrative systems, offer website design and development services, as well as project management and consulting.

“We also have an opportunity in the local land-based iGaming space in the Philippines. So combined with our service delivery expertise, we can actually apply this both online and for the land-based markets,” Arambulo said.
