Jeff Gross will be wearing the 888Poker patch for the duration of his World Series of Poker (WSOP) grind. The 29-year old from Ann Arbor, MI, made the announcement on Twitter as he competed in the Colossus II.

Gross has earned close to $2.5m in live tournament earnings including several close shaves in World Poker Tour (WPT) and WSOP events, including a career-high $476,890 for finishing third in a WPTAlpha8 event a few years back. He also finished runner-up to Sorel Mizzi in the partypoker Premier League VII.

He also provides exposure for the brand thanks to his affiliation with the Global Poker League (GPL).

The Berlin Bears star has appeared in two six max events finishing second and third and one heads-up match where he took Todd Brunson to the cleaners by 3-0. He has earned 17 points for the team, although they have plenty of work to do during the Summer Series as they currently occupy one of the two bottom spots in the Eurasia Conference.

GPL: The Cube is Revealed; Merchandise Arrives

Gross is one of the several young pioneers who are about to make poker history when they compete in a 20-foot soundproof cube during the GPL Summer Series.

Alex Dreyfus released the first snapshots of The Cube in what must rank as one of the proudest moments of his life. His dreams are literally coming true, week by week.

The Summer Series runs June 6 – July 8. Player’s will stand to compete in a series of live heads-up matches. Members of the audience will be able to see hole cards, hear them converse, and bear witness to a raft of game statistics as they watch the action in what Dreyfus has dubbed the ‘first-ever immersive poker event in the world.’

Fedor Holz Racking Up More Greenbacks

The landscape of the Super High Roller events has changed dramatically, and one young player who seems to appear in every shot is Fedor Holz. Whoever is backing this genius is a genius.

Holz has just bagged another huge score after winning a $50,000 Super High Roller at the Aria. Fellow German Dominik Nitsche was second. The pair took home over $1.2m between them.

Only a few days ago, Holz finished runner-up to Rainer Kempe in the $300,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB). It was the second time he had won a $3.5m prize after nailing the $200,000 WPT Super High Roller Series to the mast in the Philippines last year.

The event attracted 40-entrants.
