The Bellagio Release Summer High Roller Series and Bellagio Cup X Schedule

bellagio-release-summer-high-roller-seriesThe Bellagio release details of their Summer High Roller schedule and plans for July’s Bellagio Cup X.

They may no longer be the proud owners of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Championships but they still have plenty of action for the man, or woman, with a large brick in their back pocket.

As the greatest players in the world ascend on to the Las Vegas strip for 6-8 weeks of non-stop poker action, The Bellagio have rolled out the welcome mat with six $10,200 buy-in events due to be held between May and June.

The events fall under the banner of the Summer High Roller series and will consist of a solitary day of action until a winner is crowned.

Summer High Roller Series Schedule

  • Thursday, May 29 at 12 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 1 at 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 4 at 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 11 at 12 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 24 at 12 p.m.
  • Friday, June 27 at 12 p.m.

The team has also announced the date for the tenth edition of The Bellagio Cup. The $10,300 buy-in event will take place July 10-15, meaning it will clash with the World Series of Poker Main Event, but there will still be enough numbers to hand out decent six-figure sums for the high end of the leader board.

Last year saw IveyPoker Pro David Peters cutting a deal with Jason Koon to take $355,093 (Koon took $316,000) before going on to defeat in him in heads-up action to also take the title.

137-players entered the Bellagio Cup IX and if you want to become a part of event X, but don’t have $10,300 in your piggy bank, then why not try your hand in a live satellite?

A $1,080 super satellite will be held at The Bellagio on Wednesday, July 9 and there will also be a $5,180 side-event on Sunday, July 13.

All events will be re-entry up to the first six levels except for the Championship Event itself.
