Manila Bay Resorts sets lofty expectations for itself

manila-bay-resortsManila Bay Resorts is being tagged as the biggest and most lavish of the four integrated resorts and casinos in Entertainment City, As such, Tiger Resorts Leisure and Entertainment is pulling out all the stops to ensure that the resort lives up to all the hype.

Company president Masahiro Terada and vice president Kenji Sugiyama recently laid out the plans for Manila Bay Resorts and if its vision comes to fruition, the resort and casino will be the crown jewel of Entertainment City, or at least that’s what Tiger Resorts wants to achieve.

From six-star and five-star hotels, a host of premium dining destinations, top-class residential facilities, and luxurious retail and entertainment options, Manila Bay Resorts wants to have them all. And by all, the company means the whole damn ten yards. The resort is tapped to open in 2015 and will rise on a 120-hectare plot of land in Entertainment City. According to the company, it’s going to have facilities that will attract tourists in droves. On top of all that was mentioned, Manila Bay Resorts is also going to have the first man-made beach resort in the Philippines with a 100-meter diameter indoor glass dome. If that’s not interesting enough on its own, locals and tourists alike will also have the option of enjoying arguably one of the biggest casino floors in the region, covering 30,000 square meters with 3,000 slot machines and well over 500 table games.

“Our target is to really attract lots of people, local and foreigners, and in the process, be of great help to the Philippine economy and employment,” Sugiyama said in a statement.

That, in a nutshell, is also one of the reasons why a lot of people are getting excited about Manila Bay Resorts. On it’s own, the resort can be a veritable economic stimulus package for the Philippines with promises of employing more than 15,000 Filipinos, a ratio Sugiyama ratios at 95 percent Filipinos and just five percent foreigners.

All these promises of grandeur will be for naught if Tiger Resorts doesn’t deliver. But give credit to these guys because all those promises come with the mission of providing a safe environment for Filipinos and tourists alike. The company has promised that the construction of Manila Bay Resorts will be built while upholding the highest of Japanese standards with state-of-the-art technology that can safeguard the entire resort from natural calamities.

Short of calling the entire resort as a citadel, Tiger Resorts does have a lot of promises it has to live up to. But with the confidence of a company that has earned its keep in the industry, it has the credentials to say what it wants.

From here on out though, the company’s actions will indeed speak louder than its words.
