30th August, 2013 (London, UK): Sports Marketing 360 confirmed today that Esteve Calzada, CEO, Prime Time Sport and former Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer at FC Barcelona as a speaker at this year’s event.
Calzada has more than 10 years of experience as senior executive in sports industry, which started in 2002 when he was appointed Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer of football giants FC Barcelona. During five and half years, Calzada had a major contribution in the commercial transformation that brought the club to the 400mio€ revenues landmark. Today, he is CEO and founder of sports management company, Prime Time Sport operating in the areas of football players representation, sports and image rights exploitation, management consultancy and sponsorship projects for football clubs and blue chip brands.
Joining the panel ‘Think Global Sell Local’, Calzada will discuss how leading sports properties are looking to increase sponsorship revenues by segmenting and selling sponsorship rights by territory, and whether this is a strategic option open to only a select few. Calzada will also provide invaluable experience –led insight into the impacts that the trend will have on sponsorship worldwide.
