ICE showcases all sides of the sports betting industry

ICE-2013-think-bigVirtual reality was something that 15-20 years ago was the preserve of those people that owed huge black helmets with screens inside. Since then the concept has come on a long way and the online gambling industry has been one of the main beneficiaries. We’ve heard from companies in the past that have seen a direct correlation with snow falling and virtual betting being the preferred option of many when this happens given the cancellations that occur to real fixtures.

The fact the UK is seeing more and more snow as the years go by means that choice in the sector is becoming more important. A challenger to Inspired’s lead in the sector is the Malta-based Global Bet virtual sports firm that was exhibiting at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming Exhibition.

At first glance, their offering looks very similar to their British counterparts with the slick graphics and flowing streaming on par or better than Inspired. What their portfolio also includes is pre-recorded events that have already taken place and it’s this that adds another dimension to their range.

Another key aspect to any sports betting site is having a sportsbook and it’s something that can be extremely problematic if you’re just starting out. Help in this area could be critical to helping your company be successful and one of those that is continuing to grow in this sector is Kambi Sports Solutions.

They provide a fully-managed sportsbook in a similar way to Asian-facing Oneworks and offer up to 80,000 in-play events and 170,000 pre-match betting events every year. The solution works across web, retail and mobile and can easily be integrated into any site that is missing a sports betting platform. They also serve excellent  (free) coffee at their stand at ICE Totally Gaming.

Both of these two firms are still exhibiting at ICE Totally Gaming 2013 and you can find out more visiting either stand at the final day of the show today.
