Aristocrat and GameAccount Network have come to an agreement for the former to take full ownership of the nLive Platform solution the two developed for the US market. The deal gives Aristocrat the chance to use GAN’s Internet gaming system (IGS) and remote game server (RGS) in North America with the group targeting casinos in the US. The company are understandably excited, CEO and MD Jamie Odell commenting: “The nLive™ platform is an integral part of our plans — offering land-based operators a turn-key, wager ready, ‘virtual casino’ online. Since its launch in the U.S. in April, nLive™ has delivered impressive results and generated strong customer interest.
“This acquisition delivers two advantages to Aristocrat. Firstly, it bolsters our position in regulated gaming markets around the world by facilitating more rapid content distribution through an RGS. Secondly, it positions us well in the critical U.S. market, where we will assume full ownership of the nLive™ IGS.”
eGR quote a source close to the negotiations as stating the deal is worth “more than $10million” and it follows the two companies working together to launch two freeplay online casino sites in Nevada and Maryland earlier this year.
Bally Technologies has signed a deal with SHFL Entertainment to offer the company’s online casino table-game content. SHFL’s content will be available to any companies that use Bally’s iGaming platform, which includes Golden Nugget casinos, Mohegan Sun casinos, American Casino & Entertainment Properties, and a number of others. In terms of what will be offered, Louis Castle, SHFL’s chief strategy officer, added: “Our online content is comprised of the same offerings that have proven to be so successful in land-based casinos, including Three Card Poker, Casino War, Let It Ride, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, our popular side bets and our progressives, to name a few.”
