Swedish state gambling operator Svenska Spel will be a partner of the country’s new national stadium when it opens later this week. The Stockholm stadium will benefit from in-stadium betting from the Swedish gambling monopoly until the end of 2013 in a deal that is similar to one it held for the former national stadium – the Råsunda. Johan Lindvall, brand manager at Svenska Spel, told eGR: “We want to get as close to the audience as possible and through the stadium’s integrated technology, we can provide our customers with a new gaming experience based on the amazing digital possibilities Friends Arena has today.”
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with none other than the Singapore Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA). The agreement will see the two collaborate by sharing information, expertise, knowledge, skills, as well as cooperation on training by visiting each others jurisdiction. The deal is the CRA’s first with a European jurisdiction and their fourth in total after similar deals with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Queensland’s Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB)
