The Point Casino in Kingston, Washington is celebrating a landmark of sorts with the grand opening of a new building facility that will add a host of new gambling options for its customers. The new facility will feature the addition of 100 new slot machines, bringing the total slots in the entire casino to 625. In addition, 12 new table games have also been added, as well as a brand new Poker Room, a 725-seat concert venue – the Point Event Center – and the Boom Room, a dance club that can be found just off the casino floor.
The casino’s expansion is in line with the company’s objectives to provide increased gaming and entertainment options for its visitors. In a press release to the media, Point Casino general manager Leo Culloo said, “We have a brand-new expanded facility with more dining and lounge options, an expanded amenity base and increased gaming options. But even though we’re bigger, we’re keeping the unmatched family-style guest service you’ve come to expect from The Point Casino“.
In line with the opening of their new entertainment facility, the Point Casino has rolled out a week-long program for many of its patrons beginning last Sunday, July 8, and stretching all the way to this Saturday, July 14. Free cake – free cake!!! – was distributed to guests over the weekend, as well as a raffle of four new ATVs that began last Monday until today, July 12. From there, the casino will reward a certain number of its Casino Wildcard Club players with freebies and double points on all tracked play the participate on for that particular day.
Over on the other side of the country, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa also celebrated a milestone in the casino after completing an extensive expansion that cost $75 million. According to their own press release, the expansion has made the Seminole Hard Rock the world’s sixth largest casino, at least as far as gaming positions or number of seats at a table or slots are concerned. The new – and expanded – casino floor now carries more than 5,000 slot machines, 110 table games, and 50 poker rooms, encompassing a floor area that is now larger than five football fields – combined.
John Fontana, president of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, commented that the construction project was done in large part to give what its customers want. “A construction project of this magnitude was only made possible because of our incredible team members, business partners and our guests, who patiently waited for us to create what they’ve been asking for: more space, more dining options and ultimately more of what they wanted and needed,” he said.
