Poker software developer Enterra has released a new mobile client to compliment its existing offering. The Russian-based developer’s new client can be used through Android enabled devices as well as the iPad. It comes complete with Omaha Hi-lo, seven card stud Hi-lo and a number of tournaments including sit-and-go. In terms of compatibility, a statement from the firm read: “It doesn’t require Silverlight, Flash or any technologies other than HTML so the only things you need are Internet connection and any browser.”
3d-poker site PKR.com has come with its latest innovation with the launch of an editable online poker encyclopedia. Hosted at ThePokerWiki.com it hopes to become an indispensible home for poker content contributed by any poker player the world over. The original funding came from PKR.com but as Dan Grant, Media Manager at the firm explained, they’ve taken a back seat.
“PKR.com has worked with a team of writers to get ThePokerWiki.com up and running but from now on our involvement will be very hands-off,” he said.
“The future of ThePokerWiki.com is now in the hands of the poker community who we hope will pick up the baton and contribute content to help create the world’s foremost repository for all things related to poker,” he added.
