International Gaming Awards nominees revealed

TAGs: International Gaming Awards

international gaming awardsThe International Gaming Awards today announced the shortlists for their next round of presentations that will take place on 23 January 2012 at the Sheraton Park Lane, London. The majority of the gambling industry will have noticed that award ceremonies are one thing that the space doesn’t lack. What that means is you have to be on the look out for the ones that carry a bit more authority than those that are there for the sake of it.

Awards offered by Clever Duck Media’s ceremony cover everything from the best land-based casinos/resorts the world over to the most impressive online casino available. There’s even a category for industry publication/portal of the year (see if you can recognize a familiar face amongst that lot!)

Amongst the nominees for the land-based categories are City of Dreams, Resorts World Sentosa and Venetian Macau, with some of those in the online categories 188BET, SBOBET, bet365 and PKR.

Last year saw Calvin Ayre invited along as a judge for the first time and they liked him so much this year da boss is back for more. He’ll be sitting alongside a number of other notable personalities that have a rich history of gambling industry experience to help them to judge who goes home with a new silver friend.

What sets the International Gaming Awards apart from the competition is that it’s judged by the most reputable names that the industry has to offer.

The full list of nominees is here and expect to see CalvinAyre.com’s on-camera on the ground covering all the winners and losers on the night. Check out this year’s highlights and tickets for next year’s jamboree are available here.
