GTBets.com rises from VIP ashes

gtbets launchesGTBets.com has been launched in place of a triplet of sites that shut down earlier this year and will honour funds from those sites. The new site has sprung from the ashes of VIP.com, BetGameday and Nine.com, all of which were taken offline on August 1st. GTBets has acquired the VIP sportsbook, hardware and has kept on key cogs in the management structure.

A statement from the company read:

GTbets.com is a new group that has acquired the software from the VIP.com group which also includes BetGameDay, NINE and VIP. As a result of the closure of the VIP.com group there were a number of customers that had remaining balances in their accounts. In an effort to ensure that all of these customers are accommodated, the GTbets.com group is willing to honor all balances from customers that are able to prove the remaining balance with the VIP.com group. GTbets.com has hired a number of the key employees from the VIP.com group with the intentions of providing the same great customer support, promotions, odds and timely payouts. It is our aim to be a top tier online entertainment destination.

According to SBR, the site first came to light when former VIP account holders were sent marketing spam from the new company. Their original plan was to give former VIP players credit for the new site as long as they made final payout requests before the 1st October 2011. Those restrictions have now been taken off in good faith and anyone with questions can contact GTBets.com directly or Sportsbook Review at [email protected] to confirm their balance.
