The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will see the two sides discuss common issues present on both sides. No plans have yet been outlined for the provision of revenue sharing. Michael Bischoff was initially announced earlier this month but the newest member of staff wasn’t confirmed until today. He commented, “I am very pleased to be joining Betfair at this exciting time for the company and I look forward to bringing my experience in the media, telecoms and most recently, financial services sectors, to bear in this new role.”

The new role will see Bischoff head up a team of 120 technologists and coordinate the company’s information systems across Europe and the USA.
