Bally boosts social media presence

ballyBally Technologies has just announced the launch of its social-media programs and commitment to connecting with casino operators, players, and all Bally partners and stakeholders.

“There’s a high level of excitement here at Bally Technologies when it comes to social media,” said Dan Savage, Bally Technologies’ Vice President of Marketing said in a press release. “While we’ve wanted to bring Bally into the social sphere for some time now, we also wanted to be certain we did it the right way. Social media isn’t a campaign for Bally Technologies – it’s a commitment.”

While France heads in the opposite direction, finding ways to leverage social media remains the challenge for the gaming industry, Bally has taken major strides in that effort with this announcement.

Fans of Bally’s innovative games, systems, and server-based solutions around the world can now connect with Bally on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. The social sites will allow fans and clients to access information on the latest news, products, events, on-floor casino promotions, careers and a host of multimedia content for users to explore. The social media also provides a medium for casino operators and players to connect with Bally Technologies to ask questions and share their insight and experiences.

“We use the word ‘partner’ in our tagline here at Bally – Your Partner in Innovation,” Savage said in the release. “Partnership isn’t simply about ventures and business; it’s about connection and communication. Social media provides an outstanding opportunity for us to partner with the customers who employ our products and services on their casino floors and with players who love their favorite Bally games around the world. We’ve now created compelling social media sites for our customers to engage with us.”
