In February, sportsbook operator StanJames got their mobile betting swag on by signing a deal with Mobenga to launch their mobile offering. It’s the wave of the future and the market for it is ripe. It’s no surprise then that once again, Swedish mobile gaming developer Mobenga has been awarded a contract to provide a full mobile service offering, this time, to Betsafe.
Betsafe made this move in response to the high demand for a mobile service from its customers. The deal with Mobenga will see mobile betting available to Betsafe clients on their iPhones and Android smartphones. Betsafe will look to provide this new mobile offering with Mobenga during the third quarter of 2011.
Henrik Persson, CEO of Betsafe said in the release, “We are very happy that we’ll soon be offering top class mobile services to our customers…We’re also proud that Mobenga, being the leading mobile company, has partnered up with us and will lead us through this process ensuring that we’ll have the best possible mobile offering.”
Mobenga CEO Christian Rajter also commented in the release, “We are thrilled to add such an exciting brand and pioneering company as Betsafe to our portfolio. We expect to work a lot around the brand and on innovation and look forward to helping them expanding their business to the mobile media and enabling their customers to connect to Betsafe anytime anywhere.”
