The industry has affiliates out there in record numbers. So, when it comes to the matter of implementing an Affiliate program, affiliates are usually fairly set in their ways. It’s either revenue sharing or a CPA program, or sometimes a hybrid of both. Of course, it’s not like affiliates just flip a coin to decide which program to employ, they have their reasons. We decided to find out which program was used the most, so we asked Affilates “What type of program do you prefer?” Here are the results.
Twenty-seven per cent of the responses indicated that they were using a Hybrid of both a CPA and revenue sharing program.
Twenty-seven per cent of Affiliates said they employed a CPA program as their model.
Garnering the most votes, forty-six per cent of affiliates said they used revenue sharing as their program of choice.
It’s a high risk, high reward program that wins this poll, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone in our industry.
The way affiliates choose their programs can be quite the process. There’s a lot of factors that have to weighed and considered and many circumstances can alter an affiliates initial plan. Here’s with Becky Liggero and Andreas Emmanuel of OnlinePoker.net and Richard Moffat of Online Betting Guide to discuss the Best Affiliate revenue model for affiliates.
