imega-reassurancesiMEGA has today released their latest offensive to support iGaming regulation in New Jersey as the date they’re aiming for moves ever closer.

Underage gambling is one of the main causes of disagreement that is stopping many supporting the proposed online gambling bill and as such, iMEGA Chairman Joe Brennan Jr has moved to reassure the masses of their plans.

Brennan said, “Right now all the technology required is being used by European casino websites. Suppliers of age verification software will be able to open up US divisions and supply the US marketplace with proven technology.”

Gov Chris Christie will make the decision, which is expected to come down on March 3. Although, even with the support it received in the Senate there are still a majority in the state opposed to the plans. It all means the more reassurances given the better.

David Pope; Marketing Director of age verification solution leaders 192business.com, added, “Both the regulators and their licensees will certainly be able to draw on expertise built up in jurisdictions in Europe and beyond. In terms of what that might mean to the operators who get licences, the good news is that yes, the technology does exist, it’s proven and tested and will help operators acquire age-verified legitimate players.”

iMEGA’s chairman also again told of how valuable it will be for any company operating in the state due to the stringent nature of the New Jersey regulation process.
