Not surprisingly, Mr. Warrington had some harsh words for France, a nation that has come under fire for its often repressive tax laws as it pertains to the gaming world.
“France is a bit too rigorous towards online bookmakers,” Warrington told the news provider, “as all of them are required to relocate their servers in French territory and pay ‘turnover tax’. As a result, many online bookmakers abandoned the French market.”
