Get pumped, get hyped get rowdy, you’re allowed, it’s Super Bowl week! It’s the biggest sporting event in North America and more people will be watching and hopefully betting on this game than ever before. Both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers have some of the largest following in football, and this game promises to be one for the ages.
We polled the question, “What is your pick to win at Super Bowl XLV?” Here are the results.
In first place is a bit of a shocker. with 32% of the votes, the response was “It’s the wrong kind of football mate”.
Pardon me? I take it many of our polled viewers that registered their answers were from the other side of the pond where football is played only with the feet and without pads, there’s no hitting, and diving and faking injuries are fair play.
In second place with 26% of the votes, people are taking the Green Bay Packers at -3.
In third place with 21% of the votes, it’s the Steelers at +3. And in fourth place with 15% of the votes people are taking the Steelers Moneyline, over the Packers Moneyline which garnered only 6% of the votes.
Two great historical franchises will fight for immortality on Sunday, for those unlucky mates that won’t be betting and watching this game, all I can say is they call it the “Super” Bowl for a reason. There’s copious amounts of gambling and drinking going on, great food being served, parties, musical performances, it’s without a doubt the greatest single game show on the earth.
