The Nordic Gaming Group is stepping into the raging and competitive waters of the online bingo market after signing a licensing agreement with Virtue Fusion.
Under the bingo licensing agreement, Nordic Gaming Group, operator of the Nordicbet, Triobet and Tobet, will officially become Virtue Fusion’s second major Scandinavian bingo licensee, second to Unibet who joined the network at the end oflast year.
NordicBet.com, Triobet.com and Tobet.com will all add online bingo to their poker, casino and sportsbook offerings at all their respective sites, with bingo being made available via the Playtech’s subsidiary, Virtue Fusion platform.
Playtech chief executive Mor Weizer said “It gives us great pleasure to announce this agreement with Nordic Gaming, an operator with impressive B2C marketing capabilities and a strong local profile…The deal expands Playtech’s increasing portfolio of significant operators across Europe and to what is already a strong presence in the Scandinavian region.”
Ben Clemes, head of casino operations for Nordic Gaming, added, “Launching bingo is something that we have been planning for a long time and we at Nordic Gaming are very confident that we have chosen the right partners to do this with in Playtech and its Virtue Fusion network.”
